I've noticed with the enscape material editor that you now have to select it from the sketchup material list as it isn't automatically selected when you load it from the enscape material library - pretty sure it used to be auto selected to apply in prior versions. Also you can't use the material select in Sketchup to automatically select the material to edit in the Enscape Material editor - you have to find it in the material list manually

Thanks Thomasz - there are no logfiles in sketchup appdata/but i did send it to Sketchup via here automated response. I'm dealing with Sketchup distributor in Australia as apparently they don't deal with non US based issues.. Unfortunately the version i downgraded to to doesn't generate the error. A hassle to upgrade and try again and downgrade- but willing to do it perhaps
